Treatment Programs

CPMH Rehab offers a full continuum of licensed addiction treatment on our North Hollywood campus — from medically supervised detox through residential care, outpatient programs, and integrated dual diagnosis treatment. Each level is staffed to understand the demands carried by veterans, first responders, and the Valley families who turn to us.

Our Programs

Medical Detox

Medical detox at CPMH Rehab typically lasts 3 to 7 days, with licensed medical staff on site around the clock. Withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, and fentanyl can be physically dangerous, so we provide continuous monitoring and medication-assisted treatment to keep patients safe and as comfortable as possible.

Detox is the stabilizing first step, not the finish line. As soon as a patient is medically ready, our team transitions them directly into residential or outpatient care so the momentum of those first days is never lost.

Residential Treatment

Our residential program runs 30 to 90 days, giving patients a structured, on-site environment removed from the triggers of daily life. Days are built around community meetings, group therapy, and peer mentorship — a rhythm that draws on the team instincts many veterans and first responders already know well.

Patients live on campus with access to our meditation room, fitness center, and nature paths, while clinicians deliver individualized care that treats the addiction and the trauma underneath it together.

Outpatient Program

CPMH Rehab offers two outpatient levels: a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) of 2 to 4 weeks and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) of 8 to 12 weeks. Both let patients keep working, stay near family, and protect their privacy — a deciding factor for first responders who cannot step away from a career to recover.

Outpatient care works as a step down from residential treatment or as a starting point for those whose lives and support systems allow them to recover while living at home.

Dual Diagnosis

Dual diagnosis means treating addiction alongside a co-occurring psychiatric condition — such as PTSD, depression, or anxiety — at the same time, by the same team. For veterans and first responders, service-related trauma and substance use are often deeply intertwined, and treating one without the other rarely holds.

Our psychiatrists and therapists coordinate medication management, trauma-focused therapy, and individual counseling into a single integrated plan, so patients are never sent between disconnected providers.

Life in residential treatment is built around two pillars our patients credit most: the daily community meeting and one-on-one peer mentorship. The structure is familiar to anyone who has served on a crew or in a unit — show up for the group, and the group shows up for you.
